Boutique, the business magazine for fashion retailers, has a little autumn/winter inspiration for its readers.
The first being the pretty Arabella Kimono, with its hand-drawn design and autumn tones, which are perfect for A/W ’12. Boutique has then featured the lovely Felicity Skirt, which works delightfully with or without tights, perfect for a summer to winter transformation.

Our Spring/Summer ’13 pieces are already making there way into the public domain, this week featuring in the Drapers Accessories Special.
Our Darling purse and leather bag are firm favourites for next summer and we can’t wait for you to see them!

I’m sure that many of you are feeling like the bank holiday weekend has flown by too quickly, and are already checking your calendar for your next day off. I know we are!
If this is the case, then why not cheer yourself up and make sure you are fully prepared for your next long weekend, by filling your wardrobe with our feminine and gorgeous autumn/winter ’12 collection.

The new collection has the perfect balance of autumn tones and vintage inspired designs, and with the pieces being enviously versatile, even just a few must-have looks will allow you to see the autumn through in style.

The pretty and intricate designs are the ideal pieces to cater for those that love their summer inspiration, such as floral detailing, yet crave the warmer shades in preparation for autumn and winter.

My favourite bank holiday look consisted of the pretty Jasmine Tunic in Mink, paired with a chunky knit cardigan to fend off the cool breeze and tanned brogues.
The statement piece was undeniably the Jasmine Tunic, with its delicate lace overlay across the bodice adding a touch of casual glamour, finished off with the beautiful floaty skirt. Overall, the look was stylish with a classic vintage edge, creating a chic and enviable look.
It’s great to see Darling in Celebs on Sunday for a second week running. This week, they’ve featured the Darling Tara Skirt in gorgeous red. This lightly pleated skirt looks fabulous when worn both casually and for those smarter occasions. Get yours now!

Not only does the UK and the USA adore Darling, but this month has seen the brand reach Canada too!

Clin d’oeil, Canada’s monthly fashion magazine, have not only mentioned Darling, but they’ve featured four of Darling’s items from our eagerly awaited autumn/winter ’12 collection.
We’ve had our red Camilla Cape featured on a rouge-themed page, our luxurious two-tone Francine Coat with intricate hem detailing, the peplum and lace detailed Jasmine Top and finally our beautifully vintage Safia Top, with sweet 3D flower-crochet detailing and peter pan collar, all featured in the September issue.
The pieces, all which are due to appear on our website within the next 48 hours, are must-have looks to see you through autumn/winter, so keep your eyes peeled and get buying!

The adorable Stacey Solomon is pictured on the cover of this weeks Celebs On Sunday, wearing our beautiful Darling Ella Dress.

Lacey, feminine and with a hint of vintage inspiration, the dress is simply beautiful with its fitted bodice, full floaty skirt and gorgeous scalloped eyelash lace detailing. Make sure you’ve ordered yours!
Drapers magazine has featured us, and our exciting new sister label Beloved, in a three-page exclusive article!

The exclusive includes an insightful and inspiring interview with Nadia, the director and designer of Darling, discussing our new label, Darling’s spring ’13 collection and her roots in indie retail.

Drapers then introduced Beloved as Darling’s ‘dressier and edgier’ little sister! The party wear label will deliver dressy designs and pretty embellishments, meaning that people can now shop for flirty, vintage inspired gorgeous evening-wear without having to adhere to mainstream trends.
Beloved is something to be very excited about and is the perfect collection for those with a slight naughty streak and a desire for all things vintage- glamour.
Last Saturday evening, I was roped into going on a double date with my best friend. Being the good friend that I am, I begrudgingly agreed to it. It could be fun…after a cocktail or three.

-height: 18px;” title=”Darling Annabelle Tunic” src=”http://blog.darlingclothes.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/tunic.jpg” alt=”" width=”220″ height=”413″ />So, a couple of hours before we were due to meet, I decided it was time to choose what I was going to wear. I decided on this sky blue Darling Annabelle Tunic. I wanted something seductive, yet subtle. Classy, yet playful. Hot, yet feminine. There was always a slight chance that my date could be amazingly handsome and have me smitten within minutes. So, this pretty lace tunic seemed to fit the brief perfectly.
I slipped it on with a pair of black wet look leggings, which effortlessly complimented the playful feel of the tunic, and I instantly felt more confident; it’s amazing what fashion can do for your ego! Not forgetting my black platform stilettos and a touch of pink lipstick, I was ready to go.
When my friend and I arrived, our dates were already sat at a table awaiting our arrival. First impressions of my date varied, ranging from ’he’s going to use the mirror more than me’ to ‘would this guy ever leave the gym to spend time with me’. You get the picture.
Excusing myself at the soonest opportunity (I needed to escape his self-obsessed topics of conversation), I headed to the bar knowing that I’d need a few more gin and tonics to get me through the rest of the evening.
Whilst ordering, a rather attractive and extremely well-dressed man approached me. Tall, dark and handsome, he was dreamlike. After complimenting my outfit, he asked if he could take me out the following weekend. It is safe to say that the rest of the evening seemed to run much more smoothly knowing that I had a hot date the following weekend. My gorgeous Annabelle tunic is now a wardrobe favourite!
