This week we saw the beautiful Rochelle from the Saturdays wearing our April shorts as featured in Look magazine.
We’d thought we would show you a few ways to wear them, especially for those that are just a little afraid of wearing shorts.
For those that dare to bare, our best ever tip is to invest in a bronzer, the more natural and the less glitter the better as a few strokes with it will not only give the appearance of much slimmer legs, you’ll look ever so slightly sun kissed too!
Not just for a Saturday!
Accessories are from Leila London.
Darling Look 1
1. Emma Top, £38.50 2. April Shorts £39.95 3. Wedged Heels
Like we’ve always said shorts and wedged heels are a dream come true! We have tamed the shorts with our Emma Top to create a consistent theme of colour using the main colour taupe which travels through the whole outfit. Change up the look by wearing shoes or boots (military boots for example) of a completely different to make an even bolder statement.
Darling look 2
1. Kim Vest, £14;Top 2. Opaque tights 3. April Shorts, £39.95 4. Charlotte Shrug, £45; 5.Kitten Heels
This look is for those that want to cover up without negating style. We kept it cute and balanced, wearing the same colour shoes and tights will always make legs look longer and slimmer and our Charlotte shrug is a great matching addition for anyone feeling a little conscious about their arms.
Darling look 3
1. Leila Bag, £24.99 2. Kerry Top, £14; 3. Leila Earrings, £10 4. Opaque tights; 5. April Shorts, £39.95;Purple block court heels
What better way to embrace some good old colour! By focusing on the smallest section (in this case the colour purple), you are able to draw attention to the detail in the shorts, use varying degrees of the shade for a bit of drama but make sure the brightest shade is your footwear to keep your look focused.
So girls when it comes to shorts do you bare all, or cover up?
Is there a particular look you like, in fact would you like us to style an item?
