Speaking of looking good, we know that one of the hot trends this season will be wool and British heritage designs- which is trend that has our Darling name all over it! This week in honour of wool week which starts from the 5th of September, we had to make heritage designs a part of our favourite things vintage list starting without stunning autumn collection coats.

The beautiful baroque design originated from 1600 Rome, Italy and was a design that was encouraged by the Roman Catholic Church as a way of expressing exuberance and grandeur in all art forms from paintings to dance. The influence of the church allowed this design to spread throughout Europe which is why it part of British heritage design today. This season no need to worry about painting an elaborate picture or the latest symphony, our glamorous garment is all the grandeur you need, don’t you agree?

One of our favourites, the Margaret coat with its detailed collar and well sized pockets make it the perfect woman about town coat, available in good old black for those classic outfits and on trend cream. We just cannot say anymore apart from we love it!
