Best Occasion for Vintage Wear: The Christmas Party

If the adverts for the seasonal hampers for the following year are anything to go by, it must mean that Christmas is well and truly on the way.

So for every carol, every holiday decoration, and every delicious calorie laden mince pie we scoff; we know there is also another thing in the back of our minds. We’re not talking about the oven busting turkey we eventually have to buy, or even the pending dangerous mission to the high street, we’re talking about the Christmas party.

Yes the good old Christmas party, whether it’s with family, friends or your infamous and unpredictable office lot- at least we can guarantee one thing, that with the right vintage you can look like the woman of Christmas future and avoid any social mishaps (if you’re lucky).

As with all vintage clothing, make sure you know your size. Bear in mind that it will be one the busiest times of the year, so get your bits and pieces together even if you haven’t formed a complete outfit to avoid disappointment, and it will leave you room to change your mind.
